SH-2G(E) Helicopter Tactics and Training
Project Description
The objective of this project is to develop tactics and training guides for SH-2G(E) SeaSprite helicopters purchased from the US government under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program to complement host nation defense capabilities. The fundamentals and tactics developed by the MAI team are tailored to the systems installed on the SH-2G(E). The fundamentals provided in the manual include knowledge of host platforms for the SH-2G(E) such as the Knox and Perry class frigates. Acoustic and RF fundamentals, environmental and mission planning, and command and control are addressed. These concepts provide the foundation needed to effectively execute the tactics developed for SH-2G(E) missions. The tactics developed by the MAI team are open source scientifically-derived using the latest modeling technology. The MAI team also provides Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and classroom instruction. All curricula are developed to be taught by subject matter experts (SMEs).
